Tamworth Conference

Awards Ceremony

By Event Production

For the 6th year running, South Cheshire Chamber has come to Code Audio Visual to provide the technical production for their annual Business Awards.

Held at Crewe Hall, Code AV provided a two curved sets each housing a 10′ screen, both projected in Full High Definition. State of the art PA system plus the stage and lighting made sure that everyone had a wonderful view and could hear clearly.

Extra lighting equipment was also included, which really make the difference at an awards ceremony. A backdrop of LED star cloth and coloured uplighters on the set were complimented by moving lights which span around the room.

The event all ran well without problem; 10 awards were presented at the event hosted by Paul and Liz from Red Shift Radio.

Lichfield Cathedral Awards

By Event Production

Code Audio Visual was recently asked to provide the technical aspects to an award ceremony at Lichfield Cathedral.
We transformed the Medieval Cathedral within the clients budget, with all the guests talking about how spectacular the venue looked.

We used our large 12′ x 9′ for the main projection screen and projected in glorious high definition. We finished the backdrop with LED star cloth; perfect for an awards ceremony. Wireless LED uplighters enhanced the cathedrals columns. As an extra touch, we also projected stars on to the ceiling. Guests described the atmosphere online as ‘awe-inspiring’, ‘special’ and ‘amazing’.

To ensure everybody could hear clearly, we installed a multi-speaker PA system, fed by the latest in wireless audio technology to keep all the walkways clear from cables.

There were a total of 12 awards at the event. Complete with an amazing meal, the attendees and organisers were well pleased.

Drayton Manor Park Conference – Mears Group

By Event Production

Last week we spent 3 days at Drayton Manor Park – unfortunately we weren’t playing in the theme park though! We were back with Mears Group, providing AV support for their managers conference.

This is the third conference we have done recently for Mears. Like the last time, they specified a custom cut set which fits perfectly in to Drayton Manor’s Conference Room, and contains our 12ft x 7ft widescreen rear projection screen. As usual, everything was in glorious full high-definition from source through to projection, providing unrivaled quality! We also supplied our Allen & Heath and HK Audio quality sound system and LED uplighters to light up the set in the company colours.

Drayton Manor Park Conference

By Event Production

Last week, Code Audio Visual provided AV tech support for a large conference at Drayton Manor theme park.

The conference, for over 300 of the company’s managers, had a 9” tall white conference set, incorporating one of our large 12’x7’ rear projection screens.

All content and projection was in Full HD providing a brilliant, crystal clear image. The presentations and videos were also shown on 50” LED screens further down the room so those at the very back were not left out. We also provided a live camera feed on another set of 50” LED screens so everyone was able to get a clear view.

This meant a lot of routing and cabling to provide a stable and full HD image on every screen. We put in a multi-speaker PA system, controlled by our Allen and Heath digital mixing desk, providing clear and precise audio to every attendee.

Movie Premier

By Event Production

Last month, Code Audio Visual was asked by a friend of ours if we could do a small job. A movie premiere! Code Audio Visual are projection and event specialists, so he knew he was coming to the right place!

The film was based in our hometown of Crewe and was about a young chap called Derek, and his dream to set upAmericanican football team in the town and all the challenges he had to overcome.

Code AV provided all the projection equipment for the event, which took place in Crewe’s Lyceum Theatre. Full HD Projectors and high spec’d MacBook pro’s were used to ensure faultless playback. They also added various coloured uplighters around the venue to add to the atmosphere of the night.

A great evening was had by all who attended.
